MRI
Magnetic resonance imaging, or MRI, is one of the most widely used and sensitive imaging tests available today, using pulses of radio energy and a magnetic field to produce images of the body’s organs and other internal structures. Palm Harbor offers the latest MRI technologies, including high field MRI, which can be up to two times faster than conventional MRI, and wide open MRI, ideal for patients who are uncomfortable in the smaller spaces of the traditional closed machines.
Ultrasound
Ultrasound is a common imaging technique that uses sound waves to produce detailed images of organs, tissues and even blood flow. The technique is also used at very low frequencies by obstetricians to monitor the health and development of an unborn fetus.
